A fabric I have recently printed is going to be part of an upcoming exhibition, shown alongside the work of a few other Kingston illustration students. The theme running through all of the work is 'home'.

My 'Sci-Fi Lovers' print was featured on this weeks It's Nice That: Things, which was a nice suprise, here's what they said -

"London-based printmaker and illustrator James Jessiman sent us a print titled Sci-Fi Lovers or Sci-Fi Lovers 2011. It’s totally weird (it features a surreal act of marriage proposal in a psychedelic, fluorescent flower-covered room), but more importantly is completely representative of the craft and ability evident throughout all of Jessiman’s work."

A lot of my work will be on sale tomorrow at the Heuberger stall at the Comica Comiket zine fair. It's meant to be sunny and it is at the Pump House gallery in Battersea Park which looks lovely, so theres probably no better way to spend your Sunday afternoon if you're in London. On sale will be the first Heuberger zine, a fresh run of Got Transport shirts in new colourways (including girl's sizes this time) and a load of other t-shirts. There's going to be some really good artists selling on the day, have a look here.

Most of our work on sale will be fresh crop from our new print studio at Heuberger House which is running as smooth as butter.

Below is a sneak peek of our new 'Mucky Birds' print and a couple of pictures of our set up.

Got back a week ago from the states but while I was there I left some stuff for sale. If you go down to the amazing Printed Matter Inc. on 10th Avenue, New York City you can pick up a copy of Heuberger 0, pics below, be quick though, they're elusive as an albino aligator.

Print Swap #2: HEUBERGER x Ohga Booga

A couple of weeks ago some of my work was on show a little stall in the Brixton Village Market, as part of the artinavan show. Lots of nice work but I really liked this zine, made by a 2nd year camberwell illustration student (I think), which I got by swapping one of the screenprinted drafts of the first issue of Heuberger.

'Ohga Booga' is made using a 'Risograph' printer, a kind of spot-colour photocopier which sounds sweet - it's is made by the Japanese company Riso, who also brought out the amazing Print Gocco system.

Also here's a sneaky peek at one of the spreads in Heuberger, which is a two layer screenprinted zine, there aren't many of this first run (around 10 or 15 I think), most of the drafts have gone, but i'll post more pictures and info when we get it exactly how we want it, lots of nice inks.

A few new found gloves since it's coming up to winter, the leather on at the top was found on Three Colts Lane in Mile End, can't remember where I found the one in the middle, but the small one was found on Maple Grove, Kington. If anyone knows who Daniel is I have his glove.
